We’re not your average Fit Couple who always loved exercise…in fact, we were both very FAT!

We were both obese teenagers but we manage to lose weight on our own by studying nutrition and, after losing weight, we developed a passion for fitness and exercise.

Over the years we became very fit. We helped hundreds of people get in shape working as Personal Trainers and nutritionists…but then two kids came along and our life got flipped upside down… we still managed to maintain fit and healthy because of the good habits we’ve built…but it wasn’t easy!

Having to care for a little one, all of a sudden made us realize the needs a busy mom has and how important is to be able to get her body and her energy and vitality back.

This is why we decided to create MAMMAMIA FIT and to focus solely on helping mums in their back-to-fitness journey.

I am a mom, dietitian and personal trainer passionate about helping women develop an active and healthy lifestyle and get over their body image and food-related issues. I chose this career because I struggled with childhood and adolescent obesity, understanding how physically inadequate it can feel.

Throughout my career, I have explored various aspects of nutrition, from infant weaning to sports nutrition, postpartum weight loss and, more recently, the science and philosophy of change. I have obtained numerous qualifications and specializations, continuously updating my knowledge by closely following English-language organizations and publications to stay ahead and provide tangible support to my clients.

As a mother of two children (Amelia and William), I am actively involved in the local community, promoting a lifestyle rich in exercise and healthy eating in schools and sports associations. Not your average trainer, but who wants average anyway ;)

My life has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, leading me to where I am now.

I grew up in Italy and was obese by the age of 8. Despite having a very sporty and healthy family, the difficult relationship dynamics between my parents led me to suppress my feelings with food and video games, resulting in what could be called childhood depression.

With the advent of the internet, I developed a passion for learning and discovered the science of nutrition, exercise, and supplementation. Drawn into the world of bodybuilding by seeing men who looked like superheroes, I started reading and applying basic principles of nutrition and exercise. By the age of 18, I had lost 70 lbs of fat and built a nice, athletic physique.

Unfortunately, focusing on my exterior look led me to become superficial and vain, and I deeply struggled to find meaningful relationships, both romantic and platonic.

After finishing my studies, I moved to London, where I ended up working as a dancer and stripper in various celebrity nightclubs. There, I developed a taste for a rock’n’roll lifestyle filled with drugs, superficial friendships, and inner loneliness.

One night, I nearly died of internal bleeding during an after-party, and that experience radically shifted my priorities in life. I quit all my night jobs and started reading about Buddhism, meditation, mindfulness, and neuroscience.

Soon after, I started my personal training business in London. I had the pleasure of helping hundreds of people, including UK celebrities, musicians, actors you see on Netflix, comedians, and even famous chefs, using my holistic method that incorporated basic fitness principles with NLP techniques and Buddhist wisdom.

After many years of doing that and writing two books (one on mindfulness and one on fitness), I met my wife Paulina, became a husband, and a two-time dad.

Today, I work remotely with Paulina, mainly coaching moms in our Mammamiafit.com business, and I only take a very small number of selected personal coaching clients. We moved to my sunny hometown in the Italian Alps, where we live a family-centered life full of nature, healthy food, and quality time.

This is my story…and there’s still a lot to be written. I’m excited to wake up every day and contribute to my family, clients, and community by sharing and teaching what I constantly learn.

Davide: Italian and UK level 3 in personal training (internationally recognized), qualified nutritionist coach, Body Transformation Specialist, Immune Centric Certified coach, Metabolic Female Certified Coach, Ganbaru and MI40 certified strenght coach. I also have vast knowledge in naturopathy, alternative and functional medicine for women.

Paulina: UK level 3 in personal training and exercise referral (internationally recognized), BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics (UK, 2018), Post-natal exercise specialist (Burell Education UK, JMG Fitness USA), Pregnancy exercise and wellness specialist (Burell Education, Femiplace) I also have 7+ years experience working with mums and I am a mum myself.
